The Women’s Business Enterprise National Council is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to helping women-owned businesses. Their mission is to fuel economic growth globally by identifying, certifying and facilitating the development of women-owned businesses.
To qualify for the WBE -Women Business Enterprise (WBE) Certification:
A business must validate that is is at least 51% owned, controlled, operated and managed by a woman or women.
To become certified – a women owned business must undergo an extensive review process by providing a number of business documents.
MBE Certification With The NMSDC
The National Minority Supplier Development Council is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to helping minority-owned businesses. Their mission is to advance business opportunities for certified minority business enterprises and connect them to corporate members..
To qualify for the MBE – Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) Certification:
A business must validate that is is at least 51% owned, controlled, operated and managed by a member of a minority group and be a US Citizen (by birth or naturalization)
To become certified – a minority owned business must undergo an extensive review process by providing a number of business documents.
LGBTE Certification With The National LGBT Chamber of Commerce
The National LGBT Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to helping LGBT-owned businesses. Their mission is to advance business opportunities for certified LGBT business enterprises and connect them to corporate members..
To qualify for the LGBTE Certification:
A business must validate that is is at least 51% owned, controlled, operated and managed by LGBT member(s) .
To become certified – a LGBT majority owned business must undergo an extensive review process by providing a number of business documents.
