Oregon Certifications

Obtaining the right business certifications for your enterprise is crucial to gaining access to both government and corporate contracts. Certifications provide your business with a nationally recognized and highly respected status that makes your company stand out against marketplace competition for lucrative contracts. This allows you to compete more successfully for federal, state, local government and commercial contracts.
Oregon accepts/recognizes the following certifications:
Oregon also has the Emerging Small Business (ESB) certification which is for Oregon small businesses seeking opportunities for state, county and city government and special jurisdiction contracts. This program is race and gender neutral that is based on the size of the business rather than the individual. The State also has an Oregon Minority and Women Business Enterprise (M/WBE) certification which is based on the individual rather than the size of the business.
Getting a certification in the State of Oregon opens the door to targeted government and private contracting opportunities. This will allow your business to have more visibility to Oregon companies and opportunities with the State of Oregon.  For more resources, visit Helping Businesses Succeed.
